In Episode 4 of the WOWcast series, past NTSA President and inaugural NTSA Elite Advisor Randy Aranowitz speaks with Wat Keys, Vice President and financial advisor at CAPTRUST and one of the 2019 Elite Advisors.
In Part I and III of Episode 4, they discuss what inspires Keys serves his clients, with special attention to the virtual service model he employs. In segment IV, they discuss what inspires Keys, his volunteer activity and what the NSTA means to his business.
“What inspires me most is that I’ve landed in a spot that is a true calling,” says Keys. “I have loving being in the retirement plan business, but particularly now in the not-for-profit space.” Keys told Aranowitz that he is excited about day-to-day service and is inspired by the impact on families.
“I think you can make a big impact on families,” Keys says. “I feel lucky to have landed in a situation where I could build this practice and work with those folks. That’s the main inspiration,” he says.
Keys says that being a part of the NTSA “has been terribly important in having a common cause for our industry, learning best practices, meeting folks and staying in touch with them.”
