Leadership Council

The NTSA is governed by a Leadership Council. It is responsible for setting the strategic direction and making policy decisions for NTSA. It also establishes NTSA committees. The voting members of the Leadership Council are the President, the President-Elect, the Immediate Past President, and at-large Leadership Council members. Members of the Leadership Council are listed below.

2022 President

Christopher Zingaro, CRES
ABMM Financial, Iselin, NJ

Christopher brings over two and a half decades of financial services experience to ABMM Financial. He is responsible for directing the development, design and implementation of ABMM’s brand, logo, website, social media and marketing collateral for advisors, clients and retirement plan sponsors. Additionally, Christopher manages relationship with key stakeholders and partners critical to the ongoing business of ABMM and is responsible for securing and developing relationships with associations and centers of influence on both a local and national level, focusing on the public school retirement marketplace.

Prior to ABMM, Christopher work at AXA Equitable for 15 years in various capacities. Starting first in 1999 as the 403(b) Sales and Training Center Manager he quickly moved into the role of 403(b) Strategic Relationship Manager, responsible for working with the national management team to develop and grow the Retirement Benefits Group offices and client base. In addition, he was charged with the training of the AXA Advisors financial professionals.  In April 2006, Christopher assumed responsibility for managing the AXA Equitable Request for Proposal (RFP) Response Team. He was promoted to Vice President in September 2007 and in 2009, moved into the role of Vice President of Strategic Relationships and Associations, responsible for all lobbying and advocacy efforts for the company’s 403(b) business, as well as managing the relationships of industry associations, Third Party Administrators (TPAs), consultants and plan sponsors. 

In addition to serving as the NTSA President, Christopher is a member of NJASBO as an Associate Business Partner as well as a business partner member of several NJ county ASBO groups. Christopher is a graduate of Muhlenberg College with a BS in Business. He resides in Cranford, NJ with his wife and two children.
