Business Insights: Dinner on Us

A tragic byproduct of the global slowdown and stay-at-home mandate was the shutdown of the food and beverage industry. And when restrictions started to ease across the country, and restaurants began to reopen, albeit with a good deal of caution, their revenue was only a fraction of what they are accustomed to. 

In an effort to inject a little bit of capital into the food and beverage mainstream, we decided to host a virtual call for a select number of clients, followed by “dinner-on-us.” The content of the call was simply a 10-minute market update; and the restaurants chosen were locally owned with curbside pickup capability.  

Both our clients and the restaurants were grateful for the gesture, and an unexpected byproduct of this activity was some referrals to new households.
