Kelleher Assumes NTSA Helm

James Kelleher assumed office as the 2020 NTSA President at a Jan. 26 session of the NTSA Summit in Denver. Kelleher is the Chief Operating Officer at Carruth Compliance Consulting.

“If we reach out to more people,” the effect can be exponential and “we can change the narrative” concerning 403(b)s how they are sometimes regarded, said Kelleher. And “we have the tools to help you here in 2020,” said Kelleher, such as the NTSA publication The Source.

Kelleher cited priorities for the upcoming year, which include updating The Source, especially with the addition of material concerning the SECURE Act, updating the TPGC credential for the first time in many years, and adding a new event that will be held later in 2020.

“This is my opportunity to pay it forward. This is our opportunity to pay it forward as well,” Kelleher said.

“We could not be in better hands,” outgoing 2019 NTSA President Kris Coffey said of her successor.
