NTSA Awards Prestigious Honor to Glassey and Kim

The NTSA elevates two of its members to lifetime service awards, the Richard Ford Volunteer Service Awards for 2022:

Nathan Glassey, TPGC, QKA, CRES

Philip Kim, CFP®, ChFC, CLU, RICP®, CRES

The Richard Ford Volunteer Service Awards honor and promote NTSA members’ volunteer and service work in two areas, both with NTSA in their tax-exempt retirement industry markets and with the members’ own non-profit communities. NTSA volunteerism, with NTSA standing committees and projects through the NTSA member’s donation of time and talent in ways that are extraordinary, unique and valuable. And community service, either locally or nationally, through the NTSA members donation of time and talent in ways that are significant, innovative and meaningful.

“Our 2022 awardees are the epitome of role models for NTSA members, their clients and their communities,” said Kris Coffey, CPC, CPFA, CRES, Chair of the NTSA Awards Committee. “Our industry and our world are better places because of the extraordinary, significant works of the Ford Volunteer Service Awardees.”

On the NTSA side, Glassey has led the NTSA Business Intelligence Committee for several years, producing significant white papers; he also has been active with the NTSA Strategic Partner Council trade group, the CRES, government affairs, the Professional Education Committee and the TGPC task force. Kim leads the NTSA CRES special project, has contributed meaningfully to and presented at the NTSA Summit, and has been active with the Elite Advisor Council, the Management Committee and the Leadership Council.

In their communities, Glassey is active with the Wasatch Front Football League, as well as FORZA Futbol Club, Utah Avalanche Soccer Club, the Boy Scouts of American and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Kim works in promoting underprivileged and minorities business communities through Brighterway Institute, as well as ACEL.

Glassey and Kim will be honored at the NTSA 2022 Awards Luncheon on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, as part of the NTSA 2022 Summit. NTSA members join forces with NTSA itself in promoting and supporting their awardees’ community service.
