We’re just three weeks away from our Winter Virtual Event—and with a new administration in place, and a new (and largely unanticipated) shift in Congress, this is the perfect time for this crucial update on retirement policy and what we might expect in the months ahead.

Opportunity is always on the horizon! The past few years have seen a surge in interest among states rolling out new state-run IRA programs for private sector workers—and we’re likely to see more in the months ahead. Most recently the Virginia Saves program looks likely to become a reality this year. You can find out more about that development here.
