CalSavers, New Mexico Work and $ave Seek Service Providers

The CalSavers Retirement Savings Board and New Mexico State Treasurer’s Office have announced that they are seeking service providers for aspects of their operations in providing retirement plan coverage to employees in their states whose employers do not.

The CalSavers Retirement Savings Board on May 20, 2022 issued requests for proposals (RFP) for program auditing services. The Board wants to select an independent certified public accountant interested in providing external auditing services to it. The services they seek include audited financial reports on operations of the CalSavers Retirement Savings Trust.

The deadline for submitting an RFP is June 24, 2022. 

New Mexico Work and $ave

The New Mexico State Treasurer’s Office on May 24, 2022 issued a request for quotes (RFQ) regarding providing professional consulting services to the New Mexico Work and $ave Board for the development of a comprehensive communications, marketing and outreach strategic plan.

To perform the services under the RFQ, the contractor should have experience in: 

• the development and implementation of cost-effective strategic plans, including comprehensive communications, marketing and outreach plans for broad-reaching, long-term private or public initiatives; 
• consulting to include project development and management, planning and strategies, with experience consulting with governmental agencies as well as private entities preferred; and 
• working with and presenting to policy-making bodies.

The contractor is to develop a comprehensive targeted communications, marketing and outreach plan, including a timeline with sequencing of key steps that include: 

• brand development and management;
• key messaging and social media;
• outreach and relationship building strategies with targeted stakeholders; 
• tracking plan activities and follow-up; and 
• media kit development.

The contractor is to provide services under a contract on or after July 1, 2022 and should be completed by Aug. 10, 2022. This contract will expire on Sept. 30, 2022. Quotes are due by June 9, 2022.
