Business Insights: The Importance of Outreach

First, I would start by saying it has been a struggle, not everything comes easy—even for Elite Advisors. But we persevere and figure things out. That is what makes someone elite. Much is the same during this pandemic.

I continue to serve my clients by making outreach calls, I called every single one of my clients back in March. My outreach continues, but it’s not just about their investments or financial plan—it’s also just to check in on them and just ask how they are doing. What can we do to help?

A recent client of mine who is a nurse in Arizona, when our cases were skyrocketing, told me how swamped they were and how the nurses were helping each other through it. She was so thankful that when she was starving one day seeing patient after patient, someone gave her a protein bar. So I sent her three boxes of protein bars for her and her fellow nurses.

It’s not always easy to know or see where you can give and make the biggest difference. We have our usual community groups we support—Hustle PHX, CCV (our church)—and we feel you can never go wrong giving to the usual suspects that always need the help, like the food bank. My wife’s passion currently is trying to find families and single Moms in need of laptops for virtual learning at school. She heard that many underserved families only have one laptop in the house, so it’s a struggle to share when everyone has classes and needs.
