Best Job of My Life

After a quarter century in the service of American retirement savers, I am stepping down as Executive Director of the NTSA and moving on to continue this mission with PlanMember Financial Corporation.

Over the years, I have had the honor of working with the dedicated staff at the American Retirement Association and devoted volunteers across the nation. We find ourselves at an inflection point, closing the retirement coverage gap and bringing workplace savings solutions to every American is in our reach—and protecting and promoting policy that enhances retirement security for Americans is more important than ever.

I am humbled by the support of each of you, grateful for the trust the organization has bestowed on me and mindful of the important mission of the NTSA. There is no greater association to champion education and advocacy for the industry than the NTSA. Collectively, we have accomplished so much in these unprecedented years. Looking forward, I have every confidence the Association will continue to build on the exceptional momentum and enhance the support and services the NTSA provides to each of you.

The NTSA’s focus on public and tax-exempt retirement plan best practices, effective plan design and strategies to improve participant engagement is more important than ever. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to collaborate with each of you to improve policies and practices that will transcend into better retirement security. It has been the privilege of my life to lead this great Association—the best job of my life, full of purpose and wonderful people. I want to thank Brian Graff, the staff of the ARA, and the volunteers who have served with me for the opportunity to do so.

While I am stepping down as Executive Director, I will continue to work with all of you as a committed volunteer in our important endeavor.

My very best to all of you.

In Service,

Brent
