Advisor Alley: Don’t Forget the Kids!

When you’re sitting down and reviewing portfolios with your clients, don’t forget to mention the benefits of a Roth IRA for their working children. What better way to expand your client base than working with the younger generation? 

By spending the time with them, you can get them started with some good savings and budgeting habits, as well as starting the 5-year clock for them as a Roth IRA investor. You can even suggest to the parents that they match their children’s contributions… what a great incentive to save!
