Reporting Commissions on the Form 5500SF

Q. On the Form 5500SF. where does one enter data concerning a representative’s (broker/dealer) commissions? Does it go under 8f or 8g? Or does one enter it under 10e, although that seems to be dealing only with insurance company, insurance provider or similar organization which a broker/dealer is not? 

A. You would enter the data in both 8f and 10e (for insurance commissions only). This is to break them out specifically from 8f.
