Updated for 2020! Revised TGPC and The Source Available

A one-of-a-kind credential and a comprehensive reference book—both available only through the NTSA—have been updated for 2020.

Tax-Exempt and Governmental Plan Consultant (TGPC) Credential

The NTSA Tax-Exempt and Governmental Plan Consultant (TGPC) credential is the only one of its kind in the retirement industry that specifically focuses on the niche—but large—market of 403(b) and 457(b) plans. Earning this credential proves to clients and colleagues that one understands the specific rules and requirements for those plans.

Updates to the TGPC credential include addition of content concerning:

  • IRS and Department of Labor guidance for 2020;
  • the SECURE Act, including all the new required minimum distribution rules upon the death of the taxpayer, termination of 403(b) plans, and the way 403(b)-related multi-employer (MEP) provisions will be handled; and
  • the CARES Act.

Information about the TGPC credential package is available here
