The NTSA honors the lifetime service of Philip Kim, CFP®, ChFC, CLU, RICP®, CRES, Signature Wealth Concepts, Scottsdale, AZ, with its 2022 Richard Ford Volunteer Service Award.

Phil excels in his NTSA leadership, chairing the meaningful Certified Retirement Education Specialist (CRES) project and challenging his peers to excellence from his proven, successful experience with the unique Arizona consortium. He has also served as NTSA Vice President and has served on its Leadership Council, in addition, he has supported WOWcasts and Summit committees. Many have benefitted from his meaningful organization and challenges in the recent Summit general session on diversity with its business challenges and opportunities. Philip also received the lifetime achievement, NTSA Elite Advisor Award in 2016.

"Phil is an exemplary volunteer. He is creative, organized and very committed to helping everyone succeed. His selfless leadership and contributions to various committees have resulted in significant progress for NTSA initiatives that help the entire membership," remarked an FVSA nominator.

In Phil's community, he is involved in advocacy, community engagement, fundraising and support. In particular, he invests energy and resources in a homeless dental initiative, Brighterway Institute, Phoenix, AZ. He also works with diverse business segments, aiding their opportunities through ACEL and other endeavors.

"Through ACEL, I hope to inspire and motivate other Asian American colleagues in their respective pursuits. Brighterway Institute provides free dental service for the homeless in the Phoenix, AZ area. I am sprearheading a fundraising golf tournament to raise money for the non-profit while shining a spotlight on the great work that the non-profit does, both locally and nationally."

Thanks, Phil, for being our role model.
