SERVICE STORIES: NTSA Honors Adam Pearce with 2021 Richard Ford Volunteer Service Award

Join NTSA in congratulating Adam Pearce’s ongoing volunteerism with NTSA and his commitment to local community volunteerism. Pearce received the NTSA 2021 Richard Ford Volunteer Service Award for his lifetime service, both with NTSA and in Phoenix, AZ.

“What I found on my journey with NTSA is that you serve with many successful and talented folks. And successful folks tend to also be givers—generous with their time, relationships and knowledge. As you work alongside one another, you learn a lot along the way You share ideas. And you get a lot of help.”

With NTSA, Pearce served generously as president in 2017 and was on the Management Council and Leadership Council. Active in the CRES committee, he also served as a founding member of the notable Arizona first consortium (together with Philip Kim, Equitable and Robert Young, PlanMember) Together, they presented their process and successful strategies multiple times in various venues, including NTSA Summits.

“It’s no coincidence that the successful tend to be givers. Because when you give, you also get back. I have learned that you can’t out-give—you always get back more. It’s the law of reciprocity. If you give sparingly, you will also receive sparingly; if you give bountifully, you will reap bountifully. Finally, when others see a giver, they want to give, too. By our actions, we create a culture of generosity. And together, that is what we inspire at NTSA. A great example for our industry and a better one for our country,” says Pearce.

In addition to a deep focus on his family, Pearce is involved in mentoring, leadership and fundraising in his local community. “Adam is an amazing individual who has given his time and is committed to the mission of Hustle PHX. Despite some of his health challenges, in a very trying time in his life, Adam continued to find ways to support the mission of Hustle PHX by supporting entrepreneurs in urban/inner city communities throughout Phoenix,” says a fellow volunteer.
