NTSA Establishes Elite Advisor Council

NTSA has established the Elite Advisor Council, dedicated to service, leadership and mentoring. The NTSA Elite Advisor Council is committed to giving back to the industry by enabling NTSA Elite Advisors to have an enhanced platform for working with NTSA members and the retirement community of clients and their families.

The initial Elite Advisor Council activity in 2019 is to set up high-quality audio interviews of the current Elite Advisors. Elite Advisors are recognized by their peers to represent the “best of the best” in advocacy, practice management, leadership and legacy, and as advancing the interests of each client they serve — whether individual or plan sponsor — particularly in the public and private non-profit space. As of 2019, there have been 30 advisor professionals who have earned the NTSA Elite Advisor Award.

As these Elite Advisor Council interviews are conducted, they will be developed into an NTSA Elite Advisor Podcast. These podcasts will be available to NTSA members on a regular schedule. The goal of the podcasts is to memorialize and distribute their important success stories for clients, for communities, and for advisors themselves. They also will be a source of content for NTSA Advisor articles and will lead to deeper, more topic-specific stories and presentations.

Randy Aranowitz is Inaugural Chair of the Elite Advisor Council. Randy is a NTSA 2014 Inaugural Elite Advisor, 2019 Chair Elite Advisor Award Judging Committee, 2000 NTSA President and Executive Vice President at Kades-Margolis. Kris Coffey, NTSA 2019 President, is Of Advice to the Council and to the Award Judging Committee. “Elite Advisors are our beacons of excellence and hope for this industry and our clients.” said Coffey. “Listening to their stories, enabled by Randy’s piercing interview questions, will catapult us forward as we put into action their challenges.”

During the annual NTSA Summit and annual meeting, the NTSA Elite Advisor Council members will meet and review their defined mission and its activities. It also will hold periodic conference calls throughout the year.
