ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Ron Culverson is the First Vice President of Retail Business Development for PlanMember Services Corporation and oversees the national business development team and Financial Center Advisor recruiting department. Before joining PlanMember in 1994, Mr. Culverson was a Corporate Sales Training and Organization Development Manager with Great Western Financial, a Fortune 500 diversified financial institution. Mr. Culverson earned a degree in Business Administration from Chadwick University and certificates in business and finance from Grossmont College. He completed the Human Resources Management & Organization Development Program at California Lutheran University and holds his FINRA series 6, 7, 63, 24, 26 and 53 securities licenses as well as a California Insurance license. Mr. Culverson is a member and has served on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Training & Development and has taught as an adjunct instructor for the National Institute of Financial Education.

Richard Ford oversees traditional and digital marketing, employer group development and strategic partner business development efforts for PlanMember's business lines. Since 1982, he has been in the financial services industry with emphasis in marketing, product development and business development support beginning his career in Santa Barbara with Hoenig & Co Inc., a New York wirehouse firm. Prior to rejoining PlanMember in 1997, he served 8 years as VP Retirement Plan Marketing for SAFECO Life Insurance Company (later Symetra). He holds a Series 6, 63, and 26 Securities licenses and BA in Economics, Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from Macalester College and Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Washington.
