Can a 403(b)(7) Offer a Stable Value Fund?

Q. Can a 403(b) plan is set up as a 403(b)(7) custodial account offer a stable value fund in addition to annuities and custodial accounts it offers?
 
A. A stable value fund that is qualified may be used in a 403(b) plan. Caution should be taken since there are some that qualify and many that do not.
