Tax-Exempt & Governmental Plan Administration (TGPA) Certificate
NTSA Academy has designed the TGPA certificate to be an introduction to the rules for retirement plans for state and local governments, educational and religious institutions, and nonprofit organizations. It is the perfect starting point for a career in tax-exempt and governmental plan administration.
To earn the TGPA certificate, the candidate must pass the open book TGPC-1 exam. The TGPC-1 exam is also the first step towards earning the TGPC credential.

Tax-Exempt & Governmental Plan Consultant (TGPC) Credential
NTSA Academy’s TGPC credential provides you with the knowledge needed to succeed in the tax-exempt and governmental retirement marketplace, whether you are a financial advisor, consultant, or administrator. Earning the TGPC credential will send a clear message that you have a broad background of expertise with tax-exempt and governmental entities — from the nuts and bolts of 403(b), 457 and other plans used by these entities, to plan exchanges, rollovers and fiduciary issues. You will also gain insights to develop your prospecting and marketing skills. Show your commitment to the tax-exempt and governmental plan marketplace by becoming a TGPC.
To earn the TGPC credential, the candidate must have already passed the TGPC-1 exam. In addition, the candidate must pass the proctored TGPC-2 exam and meet one of the qualifying experience requirements.
